The Virginia Outdoors Foundations owns roughly 3,500 acres of open space on four different reserves. Each reserve is managed for different conservation purposes, and public access is managed accordingly. Not every reserve may be accessed without prior permission from VOF. Please select the reserve you are interested in below to learn more about its history, conservation purpose, and accessibility.
To learn about some of the properties that VOF has owned in the past and transferred to other agencies to become state parks, state forests, and other public lands, check out the timeline at the bottom of our About Us page.
